RED NOSE DAY 2017
Well done to all the children, staff and parents for their fundraising efforts for Comic Relief. Through our ‘Wear Red Day,’ cake sales and ‘Guess the number of Red Noses’ in the cake – we raised an amazing £328. Thank you for all the donations of cakes and a special thank you to Isabel’s (Year 5) Nan for making an incredible cake that was won by Mrs Roser!
KS1 Football Festival at Stover School 29th September 2016
Well done to our fantastic football players from Year 2. They were brilliant and won every game that they played and didn't concede a goal - what an achievement boys! Thank you also to our team managers from Year 6 that supported the boys and encouraged them all the way.
Cross-Country at Stover School 21st September 2016
Well done to everyone that took part today - super running! It was fantastic to see everyone giving 100% and also supporting other members of the team so a huge congratulations to you all.
On 18th of March the school dressed up in sportswear to raise money for Sport Relief. The total raised was a whopping £101.51. Everybody looked amazing in their sporty outfits and enjoyed the day dressed up. During lunch time the Team Captains were set a challenge to get everybody in their coloured team to do a sporty activity. They did it! It was fantastic to see everybody, including the adults, enjoying running, skipping and jumping together. Well done to everyone!
Year 4 Gymnastic Team
Well done to our Year 4 team that competed at the Dartmoor Schools Sports Partnership Finals on Wednesday. Each member of the team performed a floor routine and a vault and their scores were combined together. They showed great determination and focus and won the competition! Well done to all of them - a fantastic achievement.
On Monday 28th September we all took part in a skipping day with Skip2Bfit! Each class had a workshop with David and then worked hard to improve how many skips we could do in two minutes. We finished the day with an assembly to celebrate our achievements and even had a 1 minute 'skip off' between Emily, our highest scoring pupil, and Miss Nairn!
There is a chart in the school foyer to show our highest scoring pupils in each class and there is still a space for the highest scoring parent! Well done to everyone and keep skipping!
