Teaching Assistant – SEND 1:2 (AM) EYFS (PM) – Maternity cover
26.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum
NJC C 4-6 £10.98 - £11.39 per hour
Job term: Maternity Cover
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Learning, Behaviour and Social Support Assistant) starting as soon as possible working with SEND children in the mornings and based in the EYFS classroom in the afternoons. This is a temporary role covering maternity leave ideally starting after February half term.
You will need to be enthusiastic, have a knowledge of how children learn and be committed to a collaborative approach working with colleagues to deliver the highest quality support and best possible outcomes for each child. You should have a clear understanding of safeguarding and be passionate about working with children. A knowledge of Read Write Inc would be helpful but full training will be given.
