The school term is always an exciting one in Year 5. Not only will we have sports day, we will also enjoy swimming lessons as we begin the second half term. In class, we will explore some well-known texts, like Kensuke's Kingdom, and some new ones! Our music learning will take us to Africa and then return to the stage for some musicals. We will look at typography in Art and get to explore some cultured cooking in the second half term through our DT learning. And as if that is not enough, we will unpick why earthquakes happen and what early Islam looked like. Hopefully, all in between enjoy breaks and opportunities to be outside in the sunshine!
