WELCOME BACK!
We are all looking forward to welcoming you back and to getting stuck into Year 5! The first half term is always exciting as it is an opportunity to take on important roles and responsibilities in school but to also secure your place as role models in our school community.
In class, we will broaden and apply our mathematical understanding of place value, while in English we will have the opportunity to show-off our descriptive skills inspired by Jackie Morris', The Ice Bear.
We will also kick-off with Art and will look at enlarging to create sculptures. As well as this, we will explore the history of the city of Baghdad and even question why California is so thirsty!
